I participated in the MOELC (Newton) Open House on Saturday from 10am-1pm! :) It was really fun even though I didn't win in the lucky draw. :)
I painted a stained glass (plastic in this case:P) painting in the German Booth, dressed as a French person, tasted yummy french pastries (Yummy! :D) and tried French Cursive Calligraphy. I also made Bunggar Munga in the Asian Languages booth (Arabic, Malay and Bahasa Indonesia) and completed a quiz.
The Japanese booth was the best! :D I dressed as a traditional Japanese lady complete with wooden clogs, folded origami and tasted beans and takoyaki. :) Yummy x2! :D I also tried my hands at a traditional Japanese game.
I hope that I can participate in next year's open house! :D
Best Wishes,
Chu Yu :)
